"Great hotel in central Prague! Walkable to lots of restaurants, shops and museums!! Hotel was beautiful and rooms were very nice and clean. Staff made check in easy! We would definitely stay here again! "
"An excellent hotel. Located on the edge of the old town with restaurants and supermarket near by. Step away from Metro and trams. However, this hotel is big and hosted many people. Breakfast was ok but not very impressive. Is a good choice if you could get it at a sale price, otherwise, it can be pricey."
"My stay in Prague was simply fantastic . The hotel is good in every aspect:
Cleanliness & Organization: Everything was clean and organized, which shows enormous care for the guests and brings a wonderful feeling of comfort.
Room & Facilities: The room was excellent, very cozy, and featured top-quality facilities, ensuring a perfect rest after a full day of walking around the city. Thanks for the water.
Service: The front desk staff were extremely polite, kind, and helpful at all times,...
"The Cosmopolitan Hotel is centrally located. The staff is both friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of selections. I highly recommend the hotel when visiting Prague."
"Stayed for 2 nights. Good location. Easy walk to the old town and major interesting spots. About 25 minutes to the Charles Bridge. The Imperial Cafe inside the hotel is one of the best in Prague so as its sister restaurant named Next Door right around the corner. Highly recommended."
"This is a great cozy hotel in the Lesser City section of Prague. Five minute walk from public transportation, steps from the Charles Bridge, 15 minute walk from the famous astronomical clock, with a daily buffet breakfast and afternoon snacks. Fantastic location for exploring the city!"
"Perfect location in the heart of Prague! The Julius was there perfect place and within easy walking distance to important sites and the train station."
"We found the room well-equipped and spacious, so we felt at home for a few days while visiting Prague. Also, we took advantage of the great breakfast buffet the hotel offers for an acceptable amount which was very convenient for us so we could start the day with energy without having to walk anywhere else to look for something to eat. We would definitely come back if visiting Prague again."

Clean rooms, gracious and helpful staff, excellent free breakfast, and gorgeous convenient location!
It really set me up for a great vacation in Prague!
This is the absolute best stay in Prague for a couple. Passionate hotel staff provided us with welcome drinks, went over the city map, and made us dinner reservations (including Michelin star) for the next 3 nights. Room was very well appointed, comfortable beds. Location was so central yet felt like a quiet Sunday which is remarkable considering the throngs of tourists a few blocks over. 5 star boutique vibes at a very reasonable rate. Your partner will think you are a hero if you book here,...
What a wonderful hotel! We would definitely stay here again, and we've already recommended the hotel to others.
Beyond the welcoming and informed staff, the comfortable room, and the delicious food, we truly enjoyed the impressive art. Loved the music theme and had a great time trying to guess the various artists.
This hotel is a gem. It is a first class hotel and treat you like family. Everyone is friendly, helpful, engaging and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very roomy, the bathrooms are bigger than most hotels and the amenities in the bathroom are first rate.
The concierge is knowledgeable and the best part is that everything for the most part is with in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the food is first rate.

Great location about 2 blocks from the Palace side of the Charles Bridge (less busy side.) Easy to walk over into the crowds of Old Town. Quiet, clean neighborhood. Nice staff, yummy restaurant in the lobby, spacious clean rooms. No complaints other than some rooms aren’t accessible by elevator so it’s possible that you’d have to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Also, would have hoped to be able to purchase air mail stamps to mail my kiddo a post card considering it used to be a post...
The hotel is in a great location that is easily accessible to many landmarks. Staff is courteous and very professional. Room was immaculate and housekeeping was great. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. Excellent hotel.
Charming boutique hotel right around the corner from the main square. We stayed on the top floor with exposed beams. The room was so charming. The bathroom was very nice an up to date but a bit crowded for two. The breakfast was very tasty with a nice assortment of breads/rolls, cheese, meats, and also hot items. I would highly recommend this Hotel.
This a jewel of a boutique hotel, with a great breakfast included. Three blocks from the Charles Bridge, next to the historic Old Town. The staff are lovely and there is a wonderful Italian restaurant right off of the lobby.
An absolutely beautiful and wonderful hotel. From location, to staff, bedroom (we received an upgrade to one of the apartments) and breakfast, including everything else in between, simply fantastic!! We’ll be back for sure!
Great return stay in my home-from-home in Prague. Having missed my annual visit in 2020 due to Covid, I was really looking forward to revisiting old haunts and favourite spots and Hotel Josef never disappoints! Wonderful staff who are always ready to help in any way and their thoughtful welcome note and complimentary bottle of wine was a particularly nice touch. Diky moc!
Loved this old boutique hotel on a river boat. It was larger than expected, and very comfortable and cozy, mostly quiet even with the windows open. Plus, we looked out over the river every morning to be greeted by swans and a couple of ducks. The staff, especially Eva, were amazing. The location was excellent. Not in the touristy area, but close to everything.
Everything was wonderful with the exception of interactions with 2 staff members. The first was the “bar tender” in the restaurant upon my arrival, he was extremely rude but Michel was very helpful and pleasant. The second was the woman at the reservation desk- short bob hair cut- was rude as well at all interactions I had. The other staff members were helpful and pleasant especially the woman with the long white blonde hair(she was amazing and so helpful). I requested a ride to the airport as...
