We had a fantastic time. Albergo Moderno is quite off the beaten path, somehow we had misestimated where it was in relation to our target (it was listed as a Lake Como area property ....), but all the same a lovely experience. This is a traditional European style pensione where the proprietor prepares the meals, manages the bookings, etc. Located at the summit in Valle Imagna, the view (and drive) was breathtaking, the air lovely and the experience fantastic.

The staff’s communication was impeccable; they messaged us on WhatsApp before we even arrived to help with check-in. Because the restaurant was closed for Easter, they thoughtfully prepared a large breakfast box for us to enjoy before our early departure. They also recommended great local spots like Ristorante Passone. Highly recommended for both the views and the top-tier service!

We've stopped here for 4 nights during our trip to Italy. Roncobello is a nice and quiet town situated in Alps with a lot of hiking trails within 30min distance (driving). The room we've stayed at was recently renovated and was really nice and fresh. It had everything we needed from comfortable bed, flat screen TV, wifi, to beautiful bathroom. The hotel is charming, in a neighborhood of beautiful homes. It is steps away from the scenic Adda River, with views of the Alps.
