Everything was really good except there was somebody else’s hair on the toilet seat and in the shower, which was kind of gross but overall was very nice.

Nice place to stay when visiting Mendocino. The facilities are good and the place is very clean.

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Orchard Hotel: the room and property as a whole were clean and the staff was helpful. We very much recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonable option for a place to stay in the area.

Exceeded my expectations

We had a lovely stay. This is nice new or newly renovated hotel, everything was sparkling clean, comfy bed. Shower was amazing, finally made for tall people :)

Great place, casino next door offered good dinner and breakfast. Gym had all the equipment for good work out! Enjoyed the stay!

Our first stay here, and would definitely stay again. Room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked! Excellent breakfast, with hot eggs and sausage. Staff pleasant and efficient.

My husband was born and raised in Upper Lake and we decided to stay here for Anniversary. They hotel was very nice, high ceilings, nice furniture and attention to historical period pieces (like the knobs on the bathroom sink, and enormous clawfoot tub). Would recommend this place to stay.

The Thatcher has such character as a landmark hotel with modern amenities. My family loved our stay. Kevin, the bartender, was a wonderful host. Also, great coffee spot/bakery in the lobby.

Needs more pillows but other than that it was a great stay

Great location for kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding. Very friendly staff, nice and quiet property. Beautiful Lake and good weather. Casino is nearby and the restaurant is good. Love this place, I highly recommended.

Here to relax and do nothing. Zillion dollar view in the lake view rooms.

The room was tidy and clean. The setting in the trees and greenery was quiet and calming.
