This was our 4th time staying at the Tallman, and it was the first time we did not have hot water and our shower. We also were unable to use the hot tub again as it was not heated. The full breakfast was wonderful; however, the 9:30am shut off time is a little early, considering checkout isn't until 11 :00 am and it was a weekend.

Wonderful hotel, beautifully restored. The service was top notch. We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. Room was big, beautifully decorated and a great balcony which you could use during rain or shine. It was great to actually have cutlery that wasn’t plastic or wooden which is what we experienced in every hotel we stayed in during our road trip of California, also to use china tableware instead of throwaway plastic or paper plates. Great restaurant attached to the hotel, live music and fantastic/funny waitress. Would highly recommend both hotel and restaurant.
