This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I appreciated the don’t trust your sat nav signs...
This was a great hotel. We had been at several hotels in our travels and they were very helpful with everything. Giving us directions when needed. Great shower, breakfast was a nice variety, when we needed something the staff knew how to help us.
The staff, accommodations, the pub, the location was absolutely fantastic! This is a wonderful gem in this beautiful city. Right across from the cathedral and pedestrian town walks. Everything you need is here! The staff are like a big friendly family.

The location is good, a 10-15 minute walk into Chester centre. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The upstairs bar is very nice with views across the racecourse and the Welsh Hills. The breakfast is a bit different with some nice continental options. Cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Chester
The parking was small and we didn't manage to get a space, but that was the only slight inconvenience. Perfectly clean, comfortable bed, thick carpets in the hallway and amazingly confortable sofas. Garden with nice closed spaces for small companies of friends. Fantastic breakfast with really nice and helpful staff. The town of Chester is charming and full of restaurants, atmosphere and English history. The hotel is within walking distance, if you are a walking person, otherwise there are lots...
