Great location to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very basic, not worth the additional cost. The car parking across the road is perfect solution to your stay.

A nice century located hotel for anything to do in the city of Chester convenient for the river and the town centre I was using it while attending Trackdays operated by Opentrack at Oulton Park. Good safe car park however there is limited underground parking but all in all a nice hotel can’t really fault it Sam for present and if you get one with a view over the racecourse you have sending views as well

The location is good, a 10-15 minute walk into Chester centre. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The upstairs bar is very nice with views across the racecourse and the Welsh Hills. The breakfast is a bit different with some nice continental options. Cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Chester

6/10 Good

Check in and check out was brilliant but oh breakfast where do I start. Tables not cleared, we had to clear ours. Cleaning materials on a table, mouldy fruit in the fruit basket, lukewarm water for tea and my toast was white on 1 side and then no hot water for our 2nd cup of tea and they weren’t bothered. We have travelled all over the world this year and this was the worst experience of breakfast we have encountered. We have stayed several times here but this is the last time!

Really nice clean and modern hotel but AWFUL PARKING. Seen online that easy and accessible parking underground but only about 10 spaces for entire hotel!! Couldn’t find a space anywhere after driving 5 hours. Rubbish advertising and unhelpful but otherwise decent stay for one night.
