"Fire alarm at 7:30am. It was only on briefly. Bmy husband went to find out if everything was ok, and was told all patrons needed to evacuate as a precaution. He called us in the room to tell us to leave. However, there was no communication from the hotel staff about the need to evacuate. Apparently they'd searched all floors but we didn't see or hear from anyone on floor 4. Need to work on better fire or emergency evacuation communication."

"Great location and huge hotel. Booked it for my son’s birthday as we were going to Legoland the next day. Room was a great size but very hot due to the weather - no air con in the rooms so hotel had provided fans but the plugs were on the other side of the room so fans couldn’t reach us in bed - needless to say we had a very poor nights sleep. Equally problematic was the lack of plug sockets near or by the bed - there weren’t any, So we couldn’t charge phones or devices, nor could we use the room’s mini fridge to keep water cold because the fans were using up all free sockets. Also disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed the previous month for over 6 months - one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool. Not once did we receive communication that it would be closed during our stay. However staff were super friendly and kind to my son especially, and the breakfast we had was good. Overall hotel is nice, just some key things let it down"

"We stayed in one of the green wing family rooms. Overall the room size was spacious and ample space for two adults with 2 toddlers. But the sofa bed which is meant for two kids, was absolutely shocking, the sofa bed had seen better days, and it dipped and Mattress was thing as paper, not comfortable for anyone to sleep on. These rooms don’t have air con, but the fan they supply to the room of this size is a table top desk can, 15cm in height. Overall on the face it, it was a well maintained outside hotel, good breakfast selection, but, the room did fail to meet expectations."

"The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The ameneties were all that I hoped they would be when booking the stay (Sauna/Gym/Pool/Jacuzzi). I was notified of any additional chargers well before hand and in a clear and concise manner. The food was of a very good quality and in large enough portions. I cannot speak to the Bar, as I rarely drink."

"The second time i have stayed here. The first time, the room was great and just what I needed. The second time, I booked a compact room which was ridiculously hot and despite having the air con on full blast and coldest temp, it never cooled down. The air coming out of the air con was very weak and i struggled to sleep at all through the night, even with the desk fan on next to the bed."
