Aqua Log Cabins Resort
10/10 Excellent
"*We had an UPPER cabin (highly recommended-seriously!) ---Beautiful setting/beautiful views. Use of their kayaks and paddleboards is appreciated. They have a large deck/dock on the lake (Lac La Belle) with a gracious firepit (firewood provided). The set up is really nice! Your stay also includes daily use of the Nordic Spa which is 'up the road' @ Mt Bohemia. Pools. Saunas, Hot Tub, Bars and wood-fired pizza. It is not on-site. We did not mind the hike, bike or drive up there. *Bring your own linens and towels and foods (this is not a B&B) ---the cabins have a microwave and a mini fridge. There is also a Keurig(I thoroughly cleaned out-someone had poured grinds right into it-yeah not cool but Life goes on! I AM useful and cleaned it out)--bring your fav pods and mugs. Think camping but in a log cabin ! *If you want peace and quiet--this place is not for you. It attracts a wide variety of people AND of all ages. It gets loud. Adults, teens, kids, babies(crying)... It can get rambunctious. People bend rules in their favor...We were here for a week and experienced [everything]. *An issue that warrants notation; the doors on the wooden screened-in porches ALL slam with a loud sharp bang/they are all on a tight spring--it would be nice if they had some sort of rubber bumper or? We were considerate...others were not. Quiet time here is 12 midnight to 6am. THAT says it all. The thing is-we loved it here despite the 'issues'-we hiked-we biked-we kayaked! We love the outdoors!"
