Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories. The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches. Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.

We just left Hotel Tamaris and I could not wait to write a review! Parking was a breeze/free. We were greeted at reception by the friendliest lady (unfortunately did not get her name) who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were given an amazing room with the prettiest view of the sea! There was plenty of space for 3 adults with the double bed and pull out bed, all of which were very comfortable. The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks. Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....
