Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable.

A truly classic hotel! I had an emergency and had to stay overnight at Nazaré last week. I booked the most affordable and convenient hotel I found in Expedia. To my great surprise, it was right in the main street along the beach. A very classic hotel, like the ones you would see in movies of the early 20th century. Our stay was enjoyable, however we did the glamping stay was different than expected. The second”bedroom” was up in a loft and going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was challenging to say the least. Just be prepared and careful when booking the tents, especially because of the climb up and down ladder. Also we did not have a “free breakfast “ Other than that it’s what you would expect for a kids resort, lots of families ,but quite considering.
