This place is a gem. Highly recommend the breakfast which is fresh and includes home baked goods, poached eggs, cheese and mortadella, fresh yogurt with toppings and juices. We went on Salt Flat excursion with Ricardo which can only be accessed through a registered guide. There were tons of flamingos and other water birds. Comacchio is a bird watcher/photographers paradise and Ricardo’s background as a naturalist and photographer will amp up your experience. Lovely place and people.

We very much enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely stay here again if back in Ravenna. There were several highlights….the air conditioning in the room was great. It’s one of my top requirements for an hotel and it did not disappoint! They have complementary water bottles in the fridge and we very much appreciated that especially during the hot days! Our junior suite was just amazing. Down to the beautiful chandeliers, the wood beamed ceiling and especially the stunning, centuries old, frescos. The meal we had at the attached restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast we got to custom order. We arranged transport to the cruise ship from there and it was so easy. Ravenna was beautiful and this boutique hotel was the perfect place from which to tour.
