"Property is in middle of renovating some of the other guest rooms, but that should not stop you from staying here. Staff is super helpful and very friendly. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable!"
"Within walking distance of the airport, so it's a perfect place to stay if you have a flight early in the morning. The room was really clean, and overall the property was in really good condition. Would stay here again."
"The friendliness of the staff, beautiful room, and small details (like bath salts provided and breakfast delivered to the room) made the stay amazing."

If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Perseverance Theatre in Douglas. If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Juneau Arts and Humanities Council isn't far.
I spent a week at the Silverbow Inn while in Juneau for business. I had an upgraded room. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel is near plenty of restaurants and there is an excellent brick oven pizza restaurant in the hotel lobby. Breakfast at the inn was confusing, at first. It's self serve, so help yourself to whatever is in the fridge. After the first day I got the hang of it and cooked eggs, made French press coffee, and enjoyed the delicious granola. They have...
Great service at reception & on airport shuttle. Clean bathroom w/plenty of hot water in shower. Happy that could open window for fresh air. Would have liked an extra blanket for bed.
Very clean and had everything we needed and then some. We didn't cook or do laundry but could have. The bed was very firm but I'd much rather have that than too soft. It was not close to restaurants however so we did a lot of walking.
This is my second time starting at the "Alaskan Hotel and Bar," and my second review. I don't to be redundant, so I'll just mention a few things that I forgot to address in my first review.
This remains the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at; and like Johnny Cash, I've been everywhere. It's on the National Register of Historic Places. It's old.
My room is heated with a cast iron radiator, from the early 1900s. There is also a glass cabinet secretary chest (I think it's called that, lol; along...
I loved staying here. The atmosphere was a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully unique snd exquisite. I’d happily stay here again. Breakfast was always the best every morning! Linda goes out of her way to make everything just right. Even calling an airline company to handle last minutes changes. Wonderful place to stay!!
Really liked this hote--not the Ritz, but really friendly, comfortable and clean. We had a great water view of Gastineau channel and Maggie the dog and her friends were a great welcome committee. Rodney made our stay very easy as well.

Nice clean room with fridge and microwave and near the airport. This hotel offers a shuttle bus and it was very convenient. In the early am coffee was made and breakfast bars/yogurt available.
Called from airport using courtesy phone and van came to pick us up in minutes. Each time we needed to go to town it was prompt in drop off and pick up. Easy to schedule van for departure. The airport is very close. Shuttle even took us to Garry's Meat where we picked up salmon roe (cheaper than at the store). Staff was very friendly and we were able to get early check in. Breakfast was great, able to fill up before heading out for the day.
Front desk agent Heather was pleasant and very accommodating.
Nate was very nice and helpful... i took a lil tumble exiting the shuttle (nothing broken so all good) & he was very accommodating to my needs.
The room was more than satisfactory and a very reasonable rate.
