"Beds are not great, pillows very flat, no A/C and windows open the noise from road very loud. Hard to sleep. Breakfast was good for continental. The lounge area was great. "

"I had never stayed at The Social Hub before, but after this visit, I will be looking for more Social Hub hotels to use! The rooftop setting was very nice to see the city and enjoy the weather without ever leaving the hotel. Also, there is a public transit stop right in front of the hotel which is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller. "

"This was our second stay at Maria Novella and we love it there but while we were there there was a soccer game in town, Florence against a team from London. We had a suite overlooking the piazza and for two nights until about midnight the fans from the London team were at the bar two floors down yelling and doing their soccer chants, for hours!! I have never experienced anything like that, there were many police in the area but they didn’t shut them down. Of course we complained along with others but the hotel really couldn’t do anything. I’m not trashing the hotel but you better hope there isn’t a match scheduled while you’re there. The manager actually gave us a bottle of wine and some biscotti, very nice thing to do. Again, the hotel is wonderful."

"I could not get a taxi on my app. I asked the receptionist, she had a taxi there within a minute. The food at the breakfast bar was excellent, The vanilla croissants are exceptional. I left early on my last day and they gave me a yummy to go breakfast box to take on the train. Will definitely be staying here next time I am in Florence. "
