My wife and stayed at Masseria La Chiusa for a long weekend a few weeks ago (September 2015). While the hotel and its rustic surroundings were lovely, the thing that sets apart this spot is the super helpful staff. Fantastic hotel across the street from the beach. The standard suite has very spacious common area and our unit (#105) had a private outdoor patio with sun loungers and a table with chairs. It was perfect. We arrived after the end of the season for the Lido but we were still able to separately rent chairs. Good restaurants nearby too. We will definitely incorporate the AR Palace into our future travel plans to Palermo.

My wife and I loved our stay here. We booked it for our last day in Sicily because it was near the airport. But when we arrived, we realized how extraordinary this hotel is. It’s absolutely beautiful—with service to match. The pool is incredible. And the staff treated us like royalty. We particularly enjoyed Luigi, our server, and our meals were excellent! Salvatore, the hotel manager, also went above and beyond for us. We highly recommend staying here.
