Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience. Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes.

It was idyllic- just what one would hope for if you want to experience the countryside in Wales. We thought the landscape was fabulous, and the owners worked hard to make everything just right and to make us feel at home. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant for evening meals (fish and chips is quite good). Breakfast is continental, but there is a nice variety of cereals and toast and other items. The internet was quite good, by British standards.

Everywhere in Wales people have been friendly, but the cream of the friendliness was this place and their staff. They made you feel like family.
