A really lovely stay and a great warm bath, a little noise from from the town centre on a Saturday night so suggest a room on the other side if you sleep with the window open. Lovely helpful staff, and a great breakfast.

The Hotel is nice if a little bit dated in places. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice and good value and it is in a great location for exploring the town and the Brecon Beacons national park. We paid £47 for a Sunday night which was exceptional value. At this price, you can overlook the hotel being a little tired in places.

Parking was a nightmare; customers should be given more information about it. No staff welcomed us at the hotel, even though they were polite and very helpful when we spoke to them. There were holes in the walls, and the mirror was not on the wall. Only one bed was made. The room was really hot, and we had to keep the window open. The hand dispenser was hard to use when washing our hands. We got locked out one morning and waited around to be let in. We tried to contact the hotel, but no one answered the phone. We did not eat breakfast because it was too expensive, as we only wanted tea and toast, which were not available.

When we checked and were given the keys to the room upon arrival the room had not been refreshed since the last occupant. The staff cleaned the room immediately but it did mean that we could not access the room until 1 house after check in. This was not a great for our stay in Brecon and my partner was disappointed as this was a surprise trip to cheer her up after a difficult time. As instructed on the posters around the hotel we requested that the room be refreshed on day 3 however they forget and when we discovered the room hadn't been refreshed they said the staff to do it had gone home for the day. However we went out and when we returned someone had eventually refresh the bed and towels etc. The breakfast was very good and made up for the staff issues they had and we were sympathetic to the hotel manager. We will be returning though as its a very nice hotel and location and that breakfast made it all okay.

The young staff were wonderful and very helpful, the manager was boorish and snappy. I stayed with my sister in law in a twin room and although quite shabby it was clean. The car parking facility was non existent and we had to go back every two hours to put a parking ticket on until 6pm and overnight to 8am there were no charges, so no relaxing in bed with a cuppa. We didn’t eat anything there choosing to eat out was a better more favourable option. We are both in our middle 70’s and although reasonably fit it was tough our own luggage

Parking is an issue at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Food at the function I attended was very good considering the numbers involved. Some training of the serving staff might help. One of them knocked my drink over, said "Sorry" and that was that. Drinks were very pricey.
