Hotel Vis a Vis is absolutely gorgeous! I am truly overwhelmed with its beauty and the amazing staff. The front desk staff are so welcoming with outstanding customer service. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The host was so incredibly hospitable, generous, and kind. He gave some fantastic recommendations for local sites that we otherwise may have never seen. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the view was even better. He even went the extra mile to pack us a lunch with our breakfast leftovers to take with us on the road. I can’t recommend this B&B enough!

My friends and I loved staying at Hotel Vesuvio. It's just a five minute walk to the train station to enjoy all of Cinque Terra and the ferry stop to go to Portofino and Santa Margarita was across the street. There are plenty of restaurants, some cool 11th century ruins, and a daily farmers market all within walking distance. We has a "family suite" with a balcony overlooking beautiful harbor. Best of all was the staff! They took care of us like family... We were there for a week. Daily...

Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.
