Unless you look over the wall at the Harbour- you would never know this pier was there!
Caught a beautiful, and then went for fish and chips! Just perfect.

St Monans is a lovely wee. I'll she just outside St Andrews- well worth a visit.

"We very much enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Fairmont in late November. Location is stunning, in close proximity to the sea and accessible coastal path. Our room was large and very comfortable and well furnished. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful, particularly Emma /Emily on reception (who dealt efficiently with a room booking discrepancy caused by Expedia) and Alex on Concierge. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a la carte options and egg station. Swimming pool was large with a well organised booking system. The spa lived up to expectation. The golf practice facilities were very good and open to all residents. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play the golf courses on site as planned owing to the weather, but they looked scenic and well maintained. There is a regular shuttle bus service into historic St Andrews town, which is a few miles away. Would definitely stay there again. "
