Hotels in Skaleta

"From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a very welcoming host. He was always available whenever we had questions. The villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the pool quickly became the kids’ best friend throughout the holiday. The old town of Rethymno was just a 20-minute drive away. All in all, a perfect stay – Alexandros was the man with the big smile and always ready to help."

"Great pools and dining options"

"The hotel exceeded our expectations with its high level of service, exceptionally attentive staff, excellent restaurant, and above all, its outstanding location. Its convenient position, with easy access to the city’s main attractions, made our stay both effortless and truly enjoyable. The staff’s warm, gracious, and attentive approach added an extra touch of elegance to the entire experience. Every detail felt carefully considered, and we genuinely felt well looked after throughout our stay. We...

"Lovely and luxurious resort hotel and very helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Super tasty and lots of variety in the hotel breakfast. Poolbeds were super comfy and it was nice to enjoy the pools (the other one was heated) and the service you could order right to your sunbathing spot in a press of a button. Very good place for relaxing!"

"Fantastic hotel, great rooms with amazing pillows ! Staff very polite and friendly."

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property is in a lovely location across from the beach and the use of beach chairs is a real bonus. Lots of restaurant options in the area."

"Beautiful property right on the harbor. Staff very helpful, good breakfast, close to everything in the old town. Only annoyances were no hair dryer in the small bathroom & the bed was rather hard."

"Unique & absolutely beautiful room & property. In old town where everything is happening. Walk everywhere. Konstantinos was very helpful. The breakfast was great! Highly recommend."

"We had last minute cancellation and able to find this gem. Gave good information about things to do in the area and places to eat. Even on short notice about us an additional night."

"Really kind owners who are accommodating and I love the historical aesthetic of the place "

"Beautiful split level room with balcony. Friendly staff. Very central."

"Absolutely stunning property. It has its own private blue flag beach with sun beds and beach bar service. There are loads of freshwater, saltwater, kids pools again with plenty of sun beds and bar service. Rooms are adequately sized, well lit, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Staff were polite, courteous and super helpful throughout our stay. Truely a 5-Star property!"

"This is our third visit to the Alvi Hotel. It is one of the best accommodation in the area, the rooms are amazing and so is the rooftop jacuzzi. The location is perfect for the old town and their breakfast is the best I've ever had in all the travelling we have done. the restaurantis also good with the most beautiful setting."

"Breakfast was great, beach access excellent"

"Booked this place as an emergency stop as my partner was extremely ill and couldn’t travel. The proprietor was so helpful and kind letting us into the room as early as possible. He also had great knowledge of the town and the best parking spots. The place itself is lovely and in a great location, with the little pool in the courtyard it feels like an oasis in the middle of the old town."

"We had an excellent stay here. The staff is so kind and friendly. We received room upgrade which made it an extra nice stay. The AC works well, the bed if comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the view from the balcony was lovely! We would stay here again! It is on top of a hill, and not an insignificant one so keep that in mind when booking. They also have a free parking lot!"

"The location was perfect, beach access, walk to old town. The staff were very kind, the food was delicious and the room was perfect. The pools were beautiful. I would definitely return."

"Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein Traum. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, dafür alles andere nicht so. Hier dürfte etwas mehr gemacht werden. Leider auch beim Pool. Mit sehr wenig könnte man da etwas wundervolles machen! Die Lage fanden wir super! Einfach nur Ruhe pur! Wir würden da wieder hin."

"Good: The modern courtyard pool (Banana tree's in the boarders but I would not call it a garden). Room & communal area's clean. Maid service daily. Safe deposit box included in the price. Location good. (You can easily reach everything you want.) 2 x main beds good thick mattresses/ clean sheets/ clean towels. Close to a good supermarket. Poor: The kitchenette needs ripping out as dilapidated & very poorly equipped. The hob did not work, they provided a 2 ring camping hob. No oven or any way to...

"A very stylish and heartwarming hotel. Personnel was very friendly, breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. Extra points for the very comfy beds. I would totally recommend and we will definitely visit again."
