"This is a very minimalist type of hotel. Not a whole lot of frills, but perfectly located in downtown Portree. Parking was simple, free parking a few blocks away and most of the time you could get a spot right in front for loading and unloading."

Great room with beautiful view. Very nice amenities. Location may not be ideal for those wanting to be closer to Portree, but we planned for it so was not a problem. A bit pricey, but one of the nicest properties of the nine we stayed in across Scotland.
Really enjoyed the little cabins, everything we needed for a nice night was in the little cabin. The host offered anything we needed from nice conversation at the on site bar, to recommendations for local sites and food. This hotel is about 7 miles onto the Isle after crossing the bridge so after a long day of driving, arriving quickly at the hotel was very pleasant.
Beautiful view, and well equipped/modern property. Had everything we wanted, and a really nice bfast. One of our favorites on the trip--would definitely come back.
Sligachan is always a wonderful place to stay while on Skye. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can’t beat that view of the mountains in the morning. We can’t wait to stay here again!
Incredible level of impeccable luxury personalized svc frm both day and night managers as well as dining staff at their delicious gourmet restaurant. The worlds greatest shower with its awesome thick waterfall of your-choice relaxing temp water. This place was very special (and we've done some travelling in our time)!
This was hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Our room was clean, cozy, and full of amenities. Our daily free breakfast was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced so many options and made to order. The dinner was amazing everything was cooked to perfection! The Haggis bon bons are a must try! The staff are incredible, so informative, and so accommodating. This was such a beautiful place, we will definitely be back on our next trip to the highlands.
During our 2-week visit to Scotland, I managed to catch RSV. I was miserable. And by the time we reached Portree, I was struggling to breathe. My husband spoke to the Cuillin Hills hotel staff about how to go about seeing a doctor and they immediately got to helping us out. The desk staff spent over an hour on hold with the NHS to help establish my "temporary resident" status so that we could even get in to see a doctor. They printed out a map with all of the addresses of the nearby...
Beautiful rooms (we stayed in two). Comfortable beds. Desk service was amazing! We received a reservation for a Michelin rated restaurant because of the employee who called for us. Magnificent!!!
What an amazing place to stay if you want to enjoy both the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye! The location is about a 30 minute drive from Skye and so much more affordable than accommodations on the actual isle. This is a lovely boutique hotel in an old hunting lodge right on Loch Duich. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked and the staff was all so friendly, especially Gavin. Breakfast came included with our room, both made to order meals and fruit, yogurt, granola, toast,...
The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. Everything appeared very new. Nice view from the window. The staff were beyond amazing. Breakfast in the morning was some of the best food I had ever eaten. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Lovely place to stay. Our hosts were warm and charming. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio nd enjoying the view. Appreciated the small items, beverages and snacks for purchase. We did purchase a bottle of wine and enjoyed it on the back patio.
