"Lobby / lounge / dining area is beautiful with a fabulous bakery. Highly recommend the cardamom bun. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but they make brick oven pizza from scratch. Front desk was lovely and allowed me to check in early. The room was modern and clean and the mini kitchen has everything you need including a large fridge with freezer. About a 12 min walk to the train/bus station but buses run frequently and stop right outside the hotel. Supermarket is nearby. I was on the 6th floor facing the street and with the windows closed, it was absolutely quiet. I appreciate that the windows can open for ventilation. Am puzzled by the negative reviews as my stay couldn’t have been better."

"Absolutely loved my stay at Sjøberg Ferie! The setting is beautiful, but it’s the people who made it such a memorable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and kind—the sort of people who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The waterfront is gorgeous, with charming little sailboats, rolling hills and sheep grazing in the surrounding countryside. Sitting outside on the deck with a cold beer and watching those incredible sunsets was one of the highlights of my trip. It’s such a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy Norway’s beauty. The food was okay, and the beer was cold and very good, but the hospitality was exceptional. They even offered me a fishing rod so I could head down to the wharf and fish for mackerel! That simple gesture says so much about the people here. What stayed with me most was the feeling of being surrounded by kind, trustworthy people who wanted me to enjoy my stay. Thank you to everyone at Sjøberg Ferie for making it so special. An absolutely amazing experience, and somewhere I would happily return to!"

"The hotel is convenience to hiking trail of Preikestolen and view is super. We had dinner at restaurant, first Norwegian food we tasted in Norway, we love it and breakfast had a lot of selection. We loved to stay here."

"Great hotel in the centre of Stavanger close to all attractions. Clean and comfortable, with large rooms and big windows. Breakfast, fika and dinner were part of the booking, which made our stay in Stavanger much simpler. The breakfast buffet has lots of options, with good coffee and quality teas also to choose from. Dinner is a single main changing every day, along with choices salads and soups. Overall we were very impressed by the hotel. Being in the centre of town there is a bit of noise at the weekend from the pubs below."

"I booked this hotel since it said it had parking. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and I was able to get a spot. But on my return at the end of my trip there was no available parking. I had researched and there was a 24 Hour garage about a 7 minute walk so that was not bad. I felt safe in that garage. Just at the end of the day and $380 a night it would have been great to have parking at the hotel even though you pay separately for it. Staff is great. Very clean hotel. They have a delicious breakfast. The hotel is great. I would stay again. Just be aware though parking can be available you should be prepared to park elsewhere and walk to hotel."
