We stayed at the Quinta S. Bernardo in late September and we can’t say enough about this property! The property is just beautiful with a stunning view of the Douro River and surrounded by the vineyards. The Quinta is family owned and lovingly and beautifully designed and decorated. All our meals were straight from the farm, from the breakfast to the lunches to the exquisite dinners made by the chef, everything was incredibly fresh.
But what makes this property even more special is the utmost...
What an amazing location, and the staff are super friendly. We enjoyed walking through the vineyard, the great pool to cool off, and the nice wines from the region. Be prepared for some searching of the actual location even with GPS, and there are few restaurant options nearby. It would be great if the hotel hired a chef and could offer dinner.
This property is not only historic but recently updated to freshen it up. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the views cannot be beat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wine-centered place to stay in Lamego!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The stay at Quinta do Vallado was superb. The room was beautiful, with a porch and lawn chairs overlooking the vineyards, the room came with a full bottle of port wine, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the food delicious. We apprecaied the 24 hour honor bar. The grounds just so beautiful.
My family and I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Delfim Douro Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed with high-end linens. Every one room with a cute balcony. The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. This hotel was Amazing ! We loved the older charm of this mountainside resort . The staff was excellent as well as polite and friendly ! They go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with everything ! Our dinners and breakfast were great as well . We would stay here again in a heartbeat !!
We had a fantastic stay. It was low season and the owners treated us like family. The food was great, the room was nice though so be aware the open concept means the shower and toilet are basically in the same room.
