Took my son to El Cid for vacation and what a great time! Went fishing with one of the fishing fleets that El Cid offers at the hotel. 185lbs Marlin, 140 Sail Fish, and 4 Dorados (mahi mahi) the first 3 hours at sea. My son enjoyed every minute of relaxation by the pool and the cabanas at the beach. The price was so low and I would have paid double knowing how nice it was. I will be back!!
The junior suite rooms were much better than i expected. high ceiling, mini kitchen, nice sized patio. Plenty of choice for food and drinks. The property is very far from activities however, taxis are fairly reasonable.
Stayed in the Tower D in a one bedroom suite on the second floor. Very comfortable and spacious. They have all the comforts of home like dishes, plates and silverware but don't have salt and pepper and shampoo so if you need those while you are there, you can pick them up from the little market they have on the property. This condo is about a 35 minute drive from the airport and about 20 minutes from the silver strand with shops. There really isn't anything within walking distance from this...
An absolutely lovely well kept property. Miguelina, the owner, lives on site and gives her attention to every detail. Her staff is hard working and friendly. We love it here!
The room it was pretty clean, awoke up to an amazing view at the ocean. Parking was basically valet only. But courtesy parking for my visitors. About the staff very kind. From the front desk, valet and Evelia the housekeeping she took care of us very well. And I don't want to skip the buffet was delicious. and the wait staff from buffet were on top of everything. The room could use a bit upgrade, but with all kindles is enough. And we will come back definitely. Ty
From the outside it doesn't look like a Hotel, actually even on the inside. It's more like a rich relative's house, it's absolutely beautiful and luxurious!! I absolutely loved the whole experience there, from check in to check out.
The lobby was exceptionally quiet, as was the whole hotel which is not normal but was a welcomed change. The room was very clean, and very welcoming and very comfortable. The whole decor was very modern but at the same time very... fitting to the seaside location of...
We enjoyed our stay here. The receptionist Lupita and the rest of the crew were very attentive. Check in an check out went smoothly. The view was to die for! We will definitely be back!
