"The room was comfortable and just as we expected. The grounds were more than we expected, with acres of beauty and cute farm animals nearby! Breakfast was made to order at a time we specified, and was delicious."
"I’ve been coming her for many decades and this is the best staff interaction I’ve seen. They were exceptional. Every request was handled with professionalism and curtesy. The building is old and some of the public spaces could use more attention yet overall a lovely classic hotel."
"A perfect quiet rustic lodge. The room was clean, convenient and comfy and had a kitchenette and a murphy bed. So cool. Went outside for a smoke and spent the whole time watching a screech owl. I loved the location, it's far enough to feel the solitude and close enough you can go to lunch in Bethel or in North Conway or just down Rt 5 in Lovell. It's not new and it is rustic and for me very comfy and affordable. Exactly what I was expecting."

When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The Pinkham house, basically an apartment over the office, was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed and then some. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we knew where the best place to eat, shop and...
We love this place. When we first stayed there years ago we had no other options...but now we stay there and it is our FIRST choice. The owners are great. It is very reasonable and they allow my two large dogs. It is an older place but they keep it very clean. They give me ice every morning at the office and they are very informative if you want to know about places to go in the area. We highly recommend this place.
A Timeless Retreat in the Heart of Jackson.
I’ve been coming to the Eagle Mountain House for 30 years. My first visit was for my cousin’s wedding, and I remember being struck by the grandeur of this expansive, historic wooden hotel—and of course, the stunning mountain views that are just as breathtaking today.
I keep coming back because Jackson is such a quaint and charming town, and the Eagle Mountain House never loses its magic. Sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair, taking in the...
The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite! Great place and great price.
Our room overlooked the mountains from the patio. The kitchen was a full kitchen with every dish you could possibly need. The room was clean. The has fireplace was great and easy to use. They advertised a queen bed, but our room had a long. The best feature was the 2 person Jacuzzi in the bathroom. Hands down the nicest place I've ever stayed and reasonably priced.
One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!
All I can say is… wow! We were excited to come visit the Inn at Oxbow based off the wonderful reviews, but it’s impossible to capture the true essence of Maria and Brian’s bnb in words. The grounds are gorgeous with so many wonderful animals to interact with, and Maria even showed us around to let us pet them up close. The rooms are beautiful and extremely cleanly, and every morning you can chose from a great menu of farm fresh breakfast. The Inn is about an hour north of the white mountain...
This was our first time staying at the Snow Cap Inn, and we were pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed the Inn. Lots od luttle extras - warm blueberry muffins for breakfast, s'more makings, nice hot tub, and the shuttle service to the base lodges. Vwey much enjoyes the staff and location. Great value for the price
Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. There was a Blizzard, and the room had a small gas stove, it was cozy. Having the tavern downstairs was a bonus, there was even live music. The memorabilia and historic photos around the Inn gave it a quaintness of years gone by. Jack was hospitable, giving us coffee in the am right from the kitchen. The bed is comfy and the sitting room is divided from the sleeping room, a nice feature. Note: No Fridge in the room but they give you ice. I would highly...
