Property is beautiful, the cabins and view are stunning the only downfall is the shared bathrooms but they do say it on their description so we took the risk. It’s a must place. If you see it take it you won’t regret it

This was a beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the lake. The room was clean; bed was very comfortable; it was very quiet. The restaurant upstairs had great food and overlooked the lake. The staff was helpful. There was a discrepancy in the Expedia price and the hotel price and the manager honored the Expedia price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Taa' Tiin was lovely. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable. The hosts were warm and friendly, and the delicious breakfast each morning was a treat. The location is ideal—just a short, easy walk to San Juan's beautiful, colorful umbrella and coffee streets. Absolutely stellar views, excellent staff, easy to communicate with. Their website offers FAQ’s which are extremely helpful in figuring things out. I drove to Panajachel and they booked a boat for me late night for my arrival and were excellent at communicating where to go, what to do, etc.
There are many stairs to climb once you arrive at the hotel.
The place was great value for the money. You are about a 10 minute ride from the city center finding a tuc tuc was pretty easy. We were charged anywhere from 10 to 25 Q per ride per person. It depended on the person and they can be negotiated with. The place is a steep walk up so just consider that if you have a lot of bags.
The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Porta Hotel del Lago.
