Impeccable service- safaris and meals included and excellent. The villa was huge with our own pool and fire pit. You can see all sorts of wild life from your back deck including elephants and buffalo
There's nothing around and that's good. You need to drive down back roads for twenty minutes or so before you go through a series of security gates which help keep the animals in/out. If you come through late in the evening after the sun goes down you can see an amazing dark sky. The staff is very friendly, room was comfortable but be careful ordering the dinner...it ended up costing us more than our room :)

The lodge is tucked back in a quiet part of the estate, and the owner is a very, very kind woman. When I come back to Hoedspruit, I’ll stay here again!
Chisomo was fantastic. The manager Steven (or Stephen?) was wonderful and ever present. Food was great and plentiful. Rooms were everything you’d want. The property - pool, walkways, dining area - were all very well maintained. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the activities were very well-executed and planned. Drivers/guides/trackers were wonderful (knowledgeable, friendly, professional, etc.). Highly recommended.
I made a mistake and didn’t arrange the pickup correctly. Ryan dropped his work and drove to pick me up from the airport and spared me a night on the streets. Nice rooms and fun environment nearby.
We had a wonderful time at Karongwe River Logde. Staff, accommodations, food and service were impeccable! The games were great and we saw many animals , including the big five.
We stayed at Mohlabetsi for two days. Everything was top-notch, from the greeting as we arrived at the Lodge, to the farewell upon departure. The setting is wonderful, with a large green lawn under shade trees where a lovely lunch was served upon our arrival (as we gazed at the giraffe in the reserve just a few yards from the lawn). The room was clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The pool was clean and refreshing after the morning safari drive. As for the safari...
