Friendly folks who did everything possible to make our stay pleasant! We opted to have dinner at the B&B, and it was delicious, as was the included breakfast. The owners have cats and they also have a pet-friendly policy - I am a bit allergic to cats, but it was not an issue and we did not even mention it. In short, our stay was great and we would stay again if returning to Calais!

Air con was excellent and needed in the 40 degree heat. Room was excellent with decent bed and power points close to both sides of bed. We where allowed free drinks cold and hot from the dining room up until 9pm and from 9am on the morning., this was an excellent touch by B&B Hotels, very much appreciated. Outside of those hours there is a pay vending machine with snacks and hot and cold drinks. We wanted a ground floor room as my wife has mobility issues so booked the accessible room, very nice...
The town of Equihen plage is pretty idyllic. These vacation homes are part of a recent development in the area. There are lots of these homes in duplex style. The construction of the homes is a bit cheap feeling (mobile home-ish for the interior), but that was not a negative really, as the views and quaintness of the setting more than amply compensate for it. The property was quaint and quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. Only issue was that it was difficult to find check-in with the construction. I realize that will be fixed soon.
