Overnight stop

Very compact room, bathroom is okay if you’re only small build 1.5 x 1.5 mtrs, shower area was more like a baby’s bath and thick mold growth up the sides of the wall. Staff pleasant and helpful. If the rooms were of the same quality as the bar/ restaurant areas then this would be a great hotel. Don’t think we would stay here again.

This is not a Destination hotel. It's a transit hotel. The floor laminates was split, peeling and not even joined in a lot of places. The floor itself looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a long time Saw a Roach in the shower. No Aircon. Hope its a windy day to get some air by opening the window. The beds are no better than futons. The mattresses are thin. The beds extremely low to the floor. The TV's are smaller than most airlines currently use. The Bathroom is tiny, Dated, Old, not well maintained. The room could easily hold a king size bed.. but its a bad double bed. Its near a dual carriage way and a motorway, its surrounded by food places which gives it a subtle bonus and its quite literally 3 mins from the Le Shuttle turn off. If you are fit and young... sleep in a car and save yourself some serious money. If you are old and aching... make sure this place is your last option... actually stay somewhere outside of Calais, you will be better off for it. Price wise.. its a rip off, its not worth it.. this is a cash cow for the owners. They will never modernize the place, even with the floor splitting, half the electrical sockets not working and and the bathrooms needing exceptional flexibility and courage. You wont go back to this place, the owners count on that and dont care.
