Walton Hall Hotel & Spa by Sunday
8/10 Good
"It was okay. The room was clean, I booked a room some weeks ago, but I was surprised when I got there and they didn't have a room allocated and scrambled to find a vacant room so a bit disorganised. The outside structure of where I stayed needed some desperate TLC. But quite satisfied with my room."
Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Overall, the hotel is quite nice. Unfortunately, it’s challenging to contact the front desk from the rooms and we had to request three times to get a second set of towels for the two of us. The air conditioning wasn’t turned on so the room was quite stuffy as the windows do not open. The location was superb, the staff friendly, and the room was comfortable. Overall, a nice experience."
The Lygon Arms
8/10 Good
"Lovely staff and overall a very pleasant stay. Beware if you visit at the weekend..the hotel was mega busy!"
Warwick Castle Hotel and Knight's Village
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay midweek for business travel. We stayed two nights and couldn’t fault it. We went into Warwick to eat both evenings - first night at Mexicana (amazing) and the second at the Tilted Wig (fantastic as always). Breakfast did the trick."
Whately Hall
8/10 Good
"Everything was absolutely fine. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were good free Parking good Wi-Fi good phone signal. My only grip is the radiator in my room didn’t work and it was very cold."
Holiday Inn Leamington Spa - Warwick by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The Holiday Inn Leamington Spa was perfect to stay in on an overnight stay, clean, warm and welcoming. Friendly staff from the off, both in reception and the bar/restaurant area. Extremely comfortable bed in our room meant we were well rested for the second part of our journey to the South Coast. The only minor issue was that the carpark was not very well lit after dark. All in all we would thoroughly recommend staying in the Holiday Inn."
Hockley House
8/10 Good
"Disappointed restaurant not open at 7am on a Saturday as had to leave early for Heathrow. Otherwise good."
The Swans Nest Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very good hotel, well located near the town centre. The room was good, spacious and dog friendly. Hotel staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed our weekend stay. We will definitely be back."
The White Swan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed our stay at The White Swan - we had a beautiful room, very comfy bed, a walk-in dresser area and a lovely bathroom that was very tidy and had been modernised in a way that still felt in-keeping with the age of the room itself. Breakfast was lovely, with a small area to help yourself to juice, toast, pastries, fruit and yoghurt, and then hot breakfasts and hot drinks on order. A really pleasant set-up, and the breakfast staff were really helpful and friendly. The staff in the hotel were well presented and really pleasant at all times, which made such a difference to our stay. The pub restaurant downstairs is nice and cozy, and isn’t too rowdy or noisy once you’re back in your room. We didn’t eat here on either of our evenings but in future we will. It’s also really well located, just a short walk to restaurants and shops, Shakespeare’s House, the river and the theatres. There was also a nice little market right over the road for the first two days of our stay, which was really nice. Really recommend!"
