The Stables is a fantastic place to lay your head for the evening! My wife & I booked "the Blythburgh" room which was perfect for us travelling with our 15 year old. The rooms are very quaint, highly beamed & very quiet.
In the evening their is an honour bar in the lounge with local beers & chilled wine & you can even sit out on the lawns,
Breakfast is traditional Full English in the dining room & was excellent.
Plenty to do in the area with Dunwich & Aldeburg close by.
I don’t know that I have enough words to express my gratitude to the staff of this establishment. From technical support when I was having issues connecting to the internet, to sandwiches to stave my jet lag, to a marvelous family meal at Cleone’s. I felt like I was staying with family. Thank you for your kind and generous hospitality, it made the trip lovely.
It is not a hotel. It is a farmhouse converted into self-contained units, each with own bathroom. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Linen and towels are provided but no food option - bring your own. A very good idea for a buget option in an expensive area. Plenty of parking and area for children and dogs to play outside. Surrounding area is beautiful with paths across the common to Walberswick and Southwold.
We really enjoyed two nights here in a beautiful old village inn! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food delicious and carefully made to order, and the location peaceful and bucolic - highly recommended to anyone looking for time away from the city!
The Sibton White Horse Inn was a great find. Neil and Jill are friendly ower/operators of this Inn. Food is superb, it is all locally grown organic and wonderfully prepared. The Inn my be a bit tricky to find but worthy of the drive through the beautiful English countryside.
The staff at the Bell were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and it had all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the fact that it was possible to block out all light with the window shades. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and that was excellent.
I absolutely loved the Decoy Barn and John and Suzanne were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and so beautifully prepared. There were lots of options to choose from. There are many interesting places to visit in the area! I can’t wait to go back! Their little dog Buddy is very friendly and loves to chase his ball.
