So yes this was 100% a white lotus type experience. That said. The service was impeccable. We went to kinigi for gorilla trekking and Sambora coordinated every detail beyond the permits. They did everything from finding the right outerwear to finding us a great driver. Meals were delicious. We sat every night at a long table with other guests which was fun - we were traveling as a couple so was nice to mix it up. But yes. White lotus. Just be prepared.

The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater.

Incredibly warm hospitality from the owners and all the staff - breakfast was outstanding, as was all the food overall just phenomenal stay. I was in Kigali for a conference at the KCC, and it was very convenient - short, safe walk. The owners put on a 'cultural evening' on my last night, and it was delightful - it felt authentic, joyful, and with the local staff taking part in the clapping and songs, it was a welcoming, fun evening of Rwanda. Ruhondo Beach Resort is a beautiful place that requires a boat ride to get to. I stayed in an Executive Tent, which had a queen size mattress, light, electrical plug, and WiFi. The lake is a beautiful setting with many water birds, and spectacular views of the volcanoes!

A relatively new facility and very well run. Services are smooth and kept in good condition. I’ll stay here again.

It was a goid stay overall and i had my birthday on 30th April. My friends liked the place and would come back in the future

We enjoyed our time! The staff was on top of things. I felt safe in the neighborhood. They helped with taxis and making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and were extra stocked with what we all needed.

Nice and quiet.

I like that the apartment is not downtown. I could easily walk to the local shops and restaurants. Public transport to town is easily available. The place is nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you
