"We didn’t have hot water the first day but called maintenance and they came and fixed it- it was warm not hot. We didn’t feel there was much entertainment no music at the pool no nighttime activities except for one night. We stayed at the divi a lot because there was more going on
The food at club Margo was great and Shawn was an awesome server. We don’t like that some places were part of all inclusive and some were not it was very confusing as to where we could eat and where we couldn’t. The bar by our room was not included.
Everyone was very nice and helpful but we probably won’t return"
"Lovely resort food is good especially windows and mulligans. Wait staff is very accommodating. Lovely beach and pool. Only thing was you need cash if you want to leave and take taxis because it’s a taxi island. Only a few taxis take card and it will be longer for them to arrive. Would def stay here again if visiting Aruba."
"We have been to this location four times, two times Royal the other two not. I recommend royal. You check in on the ninth floor personal check-in Champagne included. They have their own restaurant on the ninth floor breakfast lunch and dinner are excellent. The beach bar is great also. You send an email prior to your stay and let them know what restaurant you would like to dine in.
Everyone is very friendly, and helpful. You can’t beat the location, the palm trees on the beach, the shops and restaurants across the street. Everything is in walking distance.
The pool could use some updating, but it’s always clean and always something fun going on in the pool area..
We’ve gone to the buffet for breakfast and that’s just OK but you have plenty of options.
The rooms are always clean and cleaned every day. The refrigerator is stocked. We asked for extra waters and beers and got them every day. Could use an update, but it’s clean neat And fun if you like fun."
"So our room was cleaned daily but still smelled of urine. Also our AC did not work for 2 days before someone came up to fix it.
The ladies at coffee shop at divi always seemed to be in a bad mood Even though many people tipped them.
The Red parrot had excellent food as did Club Margot ant the Tamarjn."
"Friendly staff, and always ready to help. Lots of poolside loungers. Our room was cleaned daily, even when we left the do not disturb on till lunch time. "
"Our stay was great! Rooms were cleaned, full of amenities, lots of shops and restaurants around. Transportation between the two resorts was easy, fast, and efficient. The boat ride to see the flamingo was so much fun but prepare to get wet. Food and service on the island was great too. I was a little disappointed with the amount of flamingos to see but overall beautiful area and must visit. Staff 10 out of 10"
"The Divi Dutch Village is a joke. Their website says you have access to 8 Restaurants, 6 Bars, 7 Pools and free daily bottle of wine. On our brochure that we received during check-in, there were 3 restaurants that were circled, along with the coffee bar and 1 other place. All 3 basically have the same food, bland. The drinks were horrible. If you are on the beach, you don't have access to the beach bar as all inclusive, you have to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink. When I asked the staff, they said sorry, the website needs updated. And we never saw a daily bottle of wine. We called for towels one evening and I had to ask the cleaning lady the next day for towels because no one ever came. The only thing positive about the stay was the concierge was very helpful. We actually flew back home a day early because we were so disappointed.
I talked to several guests that had stayed at Divi Dutch before and they were completely disappointed with the changes in the All-Inclusive. "
