Don't visit Tirana without stopping off at Toptani Shopping Center, a famous shop that should make the top of your list. Splash some more cash at Pazari i Ri, Tirana Castle, and New Bazaar.
When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Saranda Beach in the heart of Sarandë. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Mango Beach, Beach of Mirrors, and Pigeons Cave Beach.
This was our first trip to Tirana, and based on the Albanian history of isolation, we were not sure what to expect. We found the Rogner Hotel to be an absolute gem of a hotel in the middle of an otherwise modest city. Our room looked out over a park, was roomy and bright, and had been updated to accommodate all of our electronic needs. The staff was friendly and efficient, spoke English, and went out of their way to help us get acclimated to the city. The interior courtyard was a lush...

Ohhh wow where do I start... my first time in Tirana, had no idea what ti expect. Location is perfect right next to a small shopping area full of stores and restaurants, shuttle service with the best driver, who ended up taking us on day trips in the area. And the people working in the hotel are the friendliest we have ever encountered!
Highly recommended!!!

Rooms are extremely big and comfortable. Internet connection needs improvement as well as the TV cable/satelite provider. No TV service was ever available. Nevertheless, the hospitality of the staff at the reception and restaurant was impeccable.
