"From arriving at the hotel to leaving all staff members we met or passed were happy and friendly.
Highlight of our stay was the lovely room overlooking the golf course and not forgetting the most luxurious bed!
Both receptionist on check in and check out were super friendly and interested as to how our stay and break was. Also need to mention Ryan who was on the bar on Saturday night what a lovely young man.

"Fantastic 3 day break. Beautiful location, really 60s/70s inspired quirky boutique hotel with wonderful staff and excellent food. Highly recommended. Walking through the sub-tropical gardens and down to the private beach seemed like a real luxury and there are so many things to do in the area! Will come back"

"The views from the property were stunning. The room was a good size, we loved the complementary gin! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were immaculate. A fantastic weekend."

"Lovely location situated at the top of St Ives … a bit of a trek up the hill from the harbour. Hotel was lovely. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel over looking tennis courts and gardens. Buffet breakfast very nice. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool . "

A couple things that could be improved.. no restaurant menu, just small plates so no option to eat in. Breakfast was good. There is no info card in room so wasn’t sure of meal times, pool times etc. checkout was done on a pc which lacks a personal goodbye touch...

All the staff I met were extremely kind and professional, going the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is excellent with views across the bay from some suites. If being by the water is a major draw, Porthminster Beach is a spot you might want to check out when visiting central St Ives. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Harbour Sand and Bamaluz Beach, both within a short walk.
Imagine strolling along St Ives Harbour for some great waterfront pics when in the heart of St Ives. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is full of friendly people and has lots of nice beaches. If you carry on walking you'll get to Porthmeor Beach, Porthminster Beach, and Porthgwidden Beach for some more water views.
