Hotels with Hot Springs in Iceland

Beautiful and romantic cottages in the woods of northern Iceland. Lovely furnishings with romantic touches like candles, bathrobes and bedding. Well kept, clean and fabulous outdoor hot tub. Plus very convenient to outstanding river rafting with Viking!

Would have preferred a room with an enclosed shower.. other than that, it was perfect

The property itself is really lovely, however the ceiling to floor room windows were amazing. The aurora came to life and we were able to watch it from the comfort of our room. Once in a lifetime amazing experience.

We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Also the buffet breakfast was by far the nicest one we’ve had as we’ve driven the ring around Iceland. I could not recommend this hotel enough if you’re looking to spend a couple of days in...

The apartment was really nice, the only thing is that the lock was too short to work, so we just had to block the door!

Absolutely charming guesthouse. Location is excellent for just walking to the charming townof Reykjavík. No complaints! Wonderful place!

Absolutely amazing. There are three areas to stay. Cabins, long single story building with private little outlooks/access to woods, and a hotel type. We stayed in the one level building and it was incredible. So quiet and clean. Large rooms. Perfect views for the lights right out your room. Staff was SO nice. Fav hotel in Iceland.

We stayed our first night at Hotel Selfoss. It is located facing the river, which was a great view to wake up to. The continental breakfast was great! Dining in the restaurant looking at the river was a perfect way to start the morning. The hotel has a modern and stylish feel to it.

A clean hotel with a good breakfast and reasonable happy hour prices. Very kind staff in the restaurant area. We appreciated them a lot!

I would go back to Akureyri just to stay at this hostel. It was absolutely perfect, and the pod idea gives a lot more privacy to the hostel concept. Plus, nice terrace overlooking main street, incredibly friendly staff, good range and tasty breakfast (the pastries are baked right there) and everything was somehow sparkling clean almost all the time. I dont usually give many written out reviews, but this place deserves it.

A fantastic hotel in a wonderful area. Great rooms, excellent restaurant, breakfast included, and great amenities. Google it and I’m sure that you will book it. You will not be disappointed! My wife and I loved everything about. I won’t tell you about the wonderful surprise across the street. You will have to go there and check it out yourself! A definite must stay on your travels.

This was one of the most pleasurable stays I've had in recent years. The hotel is close to the airport (short shuttle or rental car drive of about 1 mile / 2km). Blue Lagoon is an easy shuttle or rental car drive away. There is a lighthouse and a golf course within 20 minutes. Reykjavik is not more than 40 minutes away. And, the Ring Road is easily accessible in either direction. Not to mention, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. This was my 2nd stay at this...

Very comfortable bed. Large fully equipped kitchen and beautiful seating area for guests to relax.

The room and facilities were clean and the location was beautiful. The host did not answer phone calls but did respond to my messages with plenty of time left before check -in.
