What a truly remarkable place, such a gem of a hotel! This was a fantastic stay, albeit entirely too short. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, the service from staff are all without equal. Nice hotel... but... they charge for everything! They add a 12.5% "service charge" on to everything... we did not know that prior to our trip... not happy about that. After traveling and vacationing for years in Mexico and tipping freely, I have a hard time not tipping... so in essence it just adds to the total cost and is kinds of like legalized theft in my opinion. The hotel was just fine but, that was a real negative for us.
