Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

Walk a little bit towards south east you may find more restaurants near JR station."

"It was an absolutely amazing stay at Uji Tea Inn. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. It’s as if I was staying with a host family rather than an inn. Throughout my stay, I felt looked after which was great as I was travelling alone. Our room was comfortable for our family of 4, and we greatly enjoyed the stunning and delicious kaiseki dinner.
