"We stayed a couple of nights for a family event and were happy with the hotel. It’s in a beautiful location, the staff were friendly and the rooms and food good. We have no complaints and would be happy to stay again.
It’s great there’s an electric car charger on site and the staff keep it available by parking their own cars in front of it and moving as needed. An improvement would be to add a Type 2 socket to it, a lot of EV drivers don’t have Commando cables, and 3 pin sockets are very...

Booked breakfast for our last morning and this was a let down. I have never been charged extra for coffee with breakfast.
Overall we did enjoy our stay and would go back, but we'd cook our own breakfast!"

"A gem of a place. Tucked away just outside Bowness this hotel is beautiful. Check in was very quick and efficient. We were early but our room was ready which was a real bonus.
We had a family room which was spacious with all the amenities you would expect and don’t always get.
We were at a family get together so didn’t dine at the restaurant in the evening. We had breakfast which was absolutely delicious and kept us going for the rest of the day!
