Well maintained grounds, beautiful gardens and paths and the construction is fashioned as traditional Kerala home villas. This is a must stay property. Food was good and they have lots of activities for the families. The staff is pleasant but not uniformly friendly and not everyone is attentive as other places. I feel they could work on this piece. Stayed one night at the W&H View Residency and had a great experience. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We mentioned we had been traveling most of the day and had not had an opportunity to have dinner; they provided a complimentary snack that was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. It’s also in a great location. We also requested assistance with booking a taxi and they recommended a very reliable and safe driver.

I was really amazed by the service and attention to detail. The resort is teeming with natural beauty and I enjoyed the beach as well. Overall it was amazing.

Beautiful property in the middle of nature. The gardens and pool were very nice. The food was excellent and a family favorite of all our travels this trip, including Mumbai. Bangalore, and Chennai. Staff very helpful, we forgot my daughters earrings there and the night receptionist, Mr. Kuku, was kind enough to mail/post it to a relative in India. The food manager was also exceptional, very concerned about our food needs and even packed a breakfast meal because we had to checkout early...

Literally amazing from the moment we pulled in. The staff is incredible and the main highlight of our stay. We were there for a short time and wanted to pick up spices and snacks from this region before we left and the staff found us all the things we wanted and brought it to our room and made it easy for us to get the whole experience!

Upgraded to a lovely, stylish room with a gorgeous view of the lake. I couldn't have been more comfortable. Staff was kind, friendly but not intrusive. Very comfortable as a female travelling alone.

We had a great time on this trip. The food was excellent. The crew was very attentive and we had a lot of fun dancing and singing. I highly recommend using Upperdeck Houseboats for your next trip.

This is my second time to Punnamada and I am anxious to go back for a third. The location is far enough from town to offer tranquility, but close enough for convenience. The Lakeside rooms are worth every extra rupee. The staff will jump over the moon to please you without making a big production. Each and every one is wonderful.
