Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

It is a venue that has not forgotten that they exist to serve customers and they do this in a fashion I had long feared extinct. We stayed for a week with part of our family - a group of 16 people in 4 apartments. We had two 3 bedroom and two 2 bedroom apartments. All of the apartments were spacious, clean and well decorated. The 3 bedroom apartments were great for the family to congregate in, especially apartment #31 which has an especially large living area.
