"All the staff, especially the concierge John, were extremely friendly and helpful. John arranged activities, scooters and coordinated our difficult connecting transportation requirements. The spa was amazing and our room was by far the most beautiful, modern and well appointed of any we've experienced. A spectacular view, extremely comfortable bedding and uncommon conveniences like an in room Nesspresso, auto dimming cove, recessed and under cabinet lighting made it feel very homey....

"Overall the room was comfortable and clean. The location was fantastic and convenient with many restaurants and cafes nearby and a short walk to the majestic Halong Bay waterfront. The safe and TV were not working. We were issued only one door card which was rather inconvenient as there were 2 of us - the hotel staff said that’s their policy. The room could do with better sound proofing- there was almost incessant traffic noise and honking even late into the night. "

I don't go to another country expecting them to speak English, it is the world's second choice for a language and the main language of tourism so its was a bonus that Chan spoke very good English. Great value, friendly servers for breakfast and very efficent cleaning staff. Most important to me was that it was what it appears to be on the listing....

Leckeres Essen, leider fixes Menü mit sehr kleinen Portionen. Wer mehr will, muss das oft und deutlich ssgen, und auch dann wird es schwierig. Jedes Glas Wasser wurde extra berechnet, nichtmal einen Kaffee in der Wsrtelounge gab es umsonst, und für did Snacks der Minibar kann man an Land gediegen essen gehen.

"Linen could have been cleaner. Staff great , very unique experince. Food very good and well catered for, perhaps some different stops, eg caves etc. and better explanation when booking you need to get to Cat ba to get on boat and not at halong Bay. Overall good."
