"Beautiful hotel set in nature, lovely and helpful staff, very clean. Really enjoyed the stay and will miss this place. "

"The room is very clean, the staff are attentive, and the 3 pools add to the beautiful experience. We had a pool side room which I recommend highly. "

"Upon arrival we had to wait for the receptionist Racida for 30’minutea to show up. Instead of apologizing she started to raise her volume to explain why she left, despite us specifically mentioning the time of arrival. We called the owner to complain and she didn’t seem to care. We had very low speed internet signal in the studio, with WiFi frequently disconnecting; we got anywhere from 1 to 11 mbps, due to a low power WiFi extender. We experienced nightly power cuts - no automatic power backup....

"Very friendly and helpful personnel that looks not only after the accomodation and meals/drinks but also organizes and participates in excursions etc. Nicely situated on a - when we were there - rocky beach (apparently depends on currents)."

"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

"Absolutely incredible. Philippe and his team go above and beyond to make you feel incredibly welcome and no request is too large. We had a wonderful week at the resort; super friendly staff (who were amazing with our 9 month old), delicious food, cold beer and a daily sunset to light your face up."

"The view looking over the ocean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling "

"Very friendly staff and great spa treatments."

"Room was nice, flowers on the bed, took a while to check in and out"

"Very friendly and helpful people. Lovely quiet position right on the beach and good snorkelling nearby. Would love to return one day. Very good food from in-house French chef"

"Very nice staff and wonderful location overlooking the marina. Picturesque setting for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"We stayed for 20 nights and honestly wish we could have stayed even longer. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The reception team, restaurant staff and bar staff were all exceptional and always made us feel at home. Our room (Junior Suite B11) was spotless every day. Housekeeping did an amazing job throughout our stay and everything was maintained to a very high standard. During our holiday we were...

"The ocean view amazing but you had to work for it. Lots of steps. (We stayed in the highest bungalow) There are no roads on the island. You get there by boat. The reception was amazing. Luggage carried off boat. Mango juice served upon arrival. Wonderful staff. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean and birds was wonderful. No air conditioning in our unit but with terrace doors wide open, (they have mosquito netting around the bed, alrhough we didn't need it as it was the first of...

"The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff, especially Eric and the two lads in the restaurant. They take what is already a decent hotel and make it an amazing one. Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage, but Eric immediately stepped in and helped us. He personally came out with us to help us find everything we needed, expecting absolutely nothing in return. Five days later, when our luggage finally arrived, he went above and beyond once again by accompanying us to retrieve...

"El lugar del hotel es excelente, enfrente del mar, por la noche se escuchan las olas, vista directa al mar, con un restaurante y servicio de excursiones al lado, y el personal es encantador. Podríamos habernos quedado a vivir en este hotel."

"Hôtel propre et bien tenu. L’accueil et le service sont impeccable."
