"The staff was so kind and the property looks on the beautiful cliffs of Madeira. We loved being able to use the Galosol pool, this was definitely a highlight. There are many restaurants within walking distance and parking is very inexpensive and easy in front. Nice to be away from the city but still close to visit as needed, would recommend for a relaxing stay!"

"The location is excellent for both the town and restaurants around the Lido area. Everything went well and we enjoyed the hotel. After 5 visits to Funchal over the last 5 years it was probably the best that we have stayed at. The hotel is quite old, but well maintained. It is starting to show its age, with small defects, that didn’t affect the stay but are noticeable. The room had a kitchenette which was very useful."

"This is our second stay at this hotel and didn't disappoint. All the staff couldn't do enough for you and all happy faces. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast is lovely with a good choice for everyone. The rooms are kept spotless. From the hotel you can walk into Funchal or 2 euro for a bus outside the hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Will be back next year. "
