"This is a vintage motel with unparalleled location next to the Gettysburg National Military Cemetery and National Park battlefields. The property has been recently refurbished. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner/heat worked fine. The new, adjacent Steinwehr Diner is a plus for full meals...no need to hunt for parking. Other eateries are within walking distance. I prefer this older motel to the more modern multi-level hotels with higher rates."

"I was so grateful to find this hotel for my niece's graduation. It was about 13 minutes away from the Gettysburg campus and passed some of the battlefield spaces. The room was perfect to share with my big brother. We tried the pool - which is was in the conference center next door and heated - nice treat! Wasn't sure where to find towels but we survived! The pool would be perfect for kiddos! We weren't sure if we were going to stay a second night and when we did - they found a way to keep us in...
