It happened again here and the hotel found a nice room in the same category and after ten minutes I was in the new room. But the hotel seems stretched to the limits in the busy summer holiday season -- understandable, but not attractive. Nearby Zoo is one of the best in the world and worth a full day visit. "

"The room was spacey and bathroom was clean and have more than enough towels and toiletries to last us for our stay. The front desk staff were efficient and bi-lingual which was helpful to our non french family. "

"It is a classic feeling French space that is spacious but just be prepared for things not to be at 4 star level. Full access to the kitchen is nice and you will have large downstairs and outdoor areas to use. If you have mobility issues avoid because of the circular staircase. Quiet area. "

"This was a functional stay to break a journey from Calais to Germany. From the outside it looks really dated but we were given a warm welcome by reception. The room itself was a bit sparse and the curtains had holes so I think the hotel needs a facelift inside and out. However the staff were great and we enjoyed a nice breakfast."

"I am surely coming back to this hotel! The location is perfect; close both to the train station and the city, but still very calm and safe. All the personnel - reception, restaurant, cleaning- were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good, the bed was the most comfortable and although the room wasn’t large, it was perfectly planned so it didn’t feel cramped. This hotel isn’t luxurious, but more than worth the price. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!"
