"We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient. The distance from Scarborough is about 10 minutes drive right to the seafront. The reception staff are efficient and curteous. Lots of parking out front too. "

"Got to The Stsr early afternoon , stresses as the journey hadn’t been great , and was met by Jemma , who was lovely and said getting into the room early , wouldn’t be a problem . Great place so clean & spacious. Love it thanks again AAA Rich"

"Exceptional hotel and will definitely be going back. Stayed in a garden room which over looked the pool and it was perfect. The weather was lovely so chilled round the pool on the very comfy sun loungers, had a dip in the heated pool and also went in the sauna. Very relaxing"

"Our stay at the Oak Wheel was very pleasurable and the breakfast was superb! Although we didn't use the bar on this occasion, the staff were very helpful and polite and the complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits in our room were much appreciated!.. One slight nit-pick is that it was noticed on top of the headboard in our room, it had a gathering of dust on top, which may be a constant overlook by the cleaner and may irritate any allergy sufferers. That aside, the overall experience at the Oak Wheel...
