"Great location by a river, overlooking the water meadows to Salisbury Cathedral. No lift, but staff showed us to our room and helped with luggage. The hotel runs a useful free minibus into the centre each evening, to enable easy access to local restaurants. Pleasant bar and terrace. A lovely short break."

"The Old Mill is a lovely old English pub and a leisurely 10 minute walk into Salisbury along the towpath with views to the cathedral and wildlife on the way. The railway station is also an easy 10 minute walk. The staff were great. The locals were friendly too happy to chat in the bar. "

It's very comfortable, and getting up very early in the morning to drive to Stonehenge we met another group in the lobby about to do the exact same thing! It's a short walk to the Cathedral, and there's plenty of food options nearby. "
