Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is wonderful! It’s located in a perfect area of Kyoto near the market, many restaurants, bars, shops and more are everywhere!
The staff are so helpful and friendly at check in and throughout your stay. If you can, add the lounge to your stay as it’s a great place to relax after a day out and about with food and coffee or beer and wine, etc. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I’m in Kyoto!
On a side note make sure if you taxi/uber in that you go into the market area to find the entrance"
"This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the warm hospitality to the excellent facilities.
The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a full day of sightseeing. What really stood out was the breakfast—it was outstanding and definitely worth trying. The chef does an amazing job, and every morning we looked forward to it.
The staff were exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the area and always happy to recommend great places to visit, restaurants to try, and the best ways to get around.
We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would happily return the next time we're in Kyoto. Highly recommended!"
