We selected Sunninghill for it’s proximity to speyside distilleries, but Elgin is worthy of of visit on its own with its enchanting ruined 13th century cathedral, a castle, the home of the luxury cashmere company Johnston’s of Elgin, and an easy drive to Inverness or the coast. Beautiful scenery in every direction. There are plenty of similar hotels and B and Bs throughout the area. Sunninghill is a solid...
