"It was our first stay at this hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel, room, grounds and casino were extremely clean. Our room was spacious, with a lovely view of the water. It smelled clean and it was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was amazing. We didn’t need to go anywhere once we checked in. Overall a perfect stay for my husband and I. 10 out of 10"

"We needed a place to stay overnight between days in Chicago and Des Moines and this location was great. The room was just right for the two of us, and the accommodations met our needs. We rolled in about 9:30, went to bed pretty early, needing to be up in the morning, and everything worked well. The breakfast was hot and ready early, so we could hit the road with full stomachs."

"The hotel stunk, the elevator and ice maker were broken(staff had bags of ice upon request). The continental breakfast was not as pictured. No waffles, stale cereal and out of pastries both days."

"Definitely a no frills hotel, but room was clean and check in was easy. Had a bit of a struggle with the shower — pull thing to get shower running was really difficult to pull up. TV selection is limited, but AC worked great. Mostly quiet. Regardless of any minor issues, I would stay here again."
